Following care instructions can prolong the life of your garment & conserve energy and water resources.
Denim: low heat, turn inside out, don't wash every wear.
Taking care to wash denim garments right reduces energy consumption, retains the product color and fabric structure.
100% Cotton: wash warm, with "like" colors, always read the care label.
To tumble-dry or not to, that is the question! Some garments can shrink if dried hot in the tumble dryer. If you love the fit of your garment, consider washing, stretching out and laying flat to dry.
Polyester: wash cool or warm, with "like" colors, always read the care label.
Washing polyester is simple and it generally doesn't wrinkle (bonus!) Air dry or tumble dry at medium temperature.
Viscose: check the care label, hand wash, lay flat to dry.
Viscose materials can sometimes have specific instructions for care so be sure to always read the label. If you opt to machine wash, turn your garment inside out, use the delicate cycle and cold water.
